Thanks to the kind people at Turbosat, I have eight tickets to auction for The Eagles at the O2 Arena next Thursday (the day before Good Friday).

These are for the Turbosat hospitality suite, which is close to the stage, at one side, rather than directly in front of it. You will join myself and some of the Turbosat team, so you'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about Topfield if you wish.

I will auction them as four pairs, the monies raised going to help cover the costs of hosting the Toppy.org.uk server. As with the tickets we had for Prince last year, it will be a closed auction; to make a bid, send an email to admin@toppy.org.uk saying how much you will be prepared to pay for a pair of tickets, by midday this coming Friday (14th March). The winning bidders will be notified later that day.

You will need to be able to pay via PayPal or credit card should you win, and you will receive printable tickets via email in time for the concert. It will be up to you to make your own arrangements for travel and accommodation.

Doors open at 1830, and the show starts at around 1930, finishing around 22.30.

Thanks, as usual, to Turbosat for making this possible.

Nigel.

Some terms and conditions to note:

1. You must have joined the Toppy.org.uk forum before Monday 10th March
2. You may bid for only one pair of tickets
3. You must pay for your winning bid within 48 hours of being notified
4. If you don't pay on time, your bid will be disqualified and the next highest bid selected

Please ensure that when you bid, you give contact details.

Nigel.

Roll up, roll up... you're still in with a good chance of winning if you fancy some tickets for the concert.

A quick check of my diary reveals that the 20th of March is also the third anniversary of the opening of the Toppy.org.uk forums for initial registration; the site as a whole was launched to the public on the 26th.

I'm looking forward to it! Out of interest, is this a bit of a launch party for the TF5810?

Well, it might turn into one, I suppose, but it's no particular reason - other than a concert to which Turbosat has kindly donated tickets.

Well, I shall endeavour to get there by 7pm, and hopefully earlier. And you can spot me by the picture on my website www.nigelwhitfield.com

There'll also be a few Turbosat people there.

A thoroughly good time was had by me and my better half, so I'd like to say a big "Thank You" to Nigel and Turbosat!
