MyStuff 5.6 Release

The MyStuff Team is pleased announce that MyStuff 5.6 has just been released, and is now available for download from the usual website (as listed in my sig below).

This version has several new features and tweaks, as well as the usual host of bug fixes. Details of all changes in this version are available from the ChangeLogs section of the website, as is the latest version of ChunkyWizard's manual.

We recommend that all MyStuff users upgrade to this new version, before reporting any bugs as our first response to any reported problems with previous versions will be to upgrade to 5.6 and retest.

Many thanks as always to the extended group of beta testers and TAP authors who have helped us finish this version.

Please use the MyStuff subforum to post your questions, problems, feature requests etc. Please try to read/search existing posts (and the manual!) before posting in case your question has already been answered, and try to use useful topic titles! Thanks.

The MyStuff Team

PS: First download - do I win a prize? How about a free copy of Mystuff?

And what a prize it is too - I've just been playing and its GREAT! Love the AccurateBM support, love the dialogue box when changing to a channel that is currently recording, love the fact that MyStuff is now VERY VERY fast in the Archive, timer list, etc , love that Recording Fixer can now live in the TapLauncher directory (not that I ever need Recording Fixer these days!!!).

Did I mention that I like this version?

Glen.

Cool. For us all the changes here were incremental, so we never really saw how much faster than in 5.51 it was at the end. Is it really that noticable then?

Noticable? I'd say more like astounding!

I am waiting for the rugby to finish before installing. What does the support for Accurate Bookmarking consist of?

Install AccBM TAP, then set option P9 (Enable Accurate Bookmark Support) to YES. Hey presto...

Ah! My Adobe find function was broken when I looked for it. Possibly due to having a sticky k key on my keyboard. Sad

Read the manual but it is not crystal as to exactly what it does. Is it when you press Play or when you press OK to start playback? What does it do if the first bookmark is not that close to the start of the logical recording?

Its when you play from the start (whatever button you use) MyStuff will check to see if there is a bookmark inserted at the start of the programme so that you don't need to watch the padding.

Glen.
