Hi R2,
thanks for the new version. I shall run some tests as soon as I find the time.
Cheers,

mike.hinson wrote: When will you be able to get it faster than the 5.14.x version? Not really. The whole lot is geared around "16x" as a maximum, which surprised me (because this is in all firmwares, and before the Freeview Playback requirement). But, of course, 16x doesn't work out as 16x in reality, and the low-level tweak could be adjusted and may offer more speed, possibly at the expense of system resources (I think the tweak increases the interrupt frequency and decreases the settling wait, so that's why it's smoother).
Quote: When can we expect sound during fast playback too? The Toppy firmware doesn't do it so I think that, even if it is possible on the EMMA2 chipset, it's unlikely it will be "discovered". I'd have had no clue about this latest adjustment (and it was hard enough to find even when we knew it was there!). |

bloody hell ! FF is fast for a toppy ! I keep forgetting it has FF and REW, so used to quickjump.
I have broken REW already though, on TMF channel, at x4 it's just stuck and flashes the frame (don't try it if you have fits - seriously) and the red service not running message pops up. I think my recording is ok though.
Oh, I'm not running the speed up patches. (but the FVPB don't have um?)
I tried it on a BBC2 file and I don't get the above problem. |

I just tried it on the TF5810 and eventually managed to get it to do x16 rewind (same as [Wf] x4 rewind). It does the exact same thing. |

Touchy! It doesn't work though. Are you saying it doesn't work on 5.14.x either?

Well forget all that factory reset nonsense - I'll take your word for it!

| That's another bug to add to the datebase then, for the FVPB firmware. LOL |

Hey, I'm not even bothered - I use QuickJump, but you wanted it tested.
