| 5.21a is now available, and fixes the crash on selecting Create [Folder Name]. The download page of the site has a link to the full installation package and one to just the TAP file (so you can just download the tap and replace your current one) |

| Hello, this is my first post here, and I'm pretty sure these have not been mentioned. I have knowticed the sat/scart switch remote control button does not work when any form of mystuff osd is on the screen. I've seen this issuse from ver 4.54 to 5.X (ver5.12.88 C1.01 & ver5.13.26 C5.14) |

mr-b wrote: The Wiki page is great for capturing feature requests and the comments/decisions.
However it's getting rather unwieldy already - can it be broken up into different pages per feature area e.g. Timers, EPG, Archive etc.? Hi,
feel free to edit the Wiki if you think of a way to do it that will be obvious for others to follow, or if you can help maintain a better structure.
Might also be worth thinking about:
-- complete restructure without a table
-- use of colour
-- split into sections on basis of likelihood of feature being developed
-- how much effort is needed to maintain the structure
Thanks for your input,

CW Actually, you CAN change the subject as often as you like (this one, for instance, has the subject of "Changing the subject"). Unfortunately, the only places you can then actually see the subject are when you're
posting it,
quoting it to reply to, or
in search results.
... which catches out those who naturally assume that putting something helpful in the subject will be ... well, helpful.
Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to switch on the ability to see the subject of a post when you're just viewing the thread normally (unless Nigel can tell us otherwise).

Don't the "Loading..." then "Searching..." boxes at the top left do that for you? Can miss them (especially the "Searching" one) - would be great to have the N+N initial boot message on screen for an optional longer time |

So you can (and I'd whizzed through all the styles to check and missed it!!).
I wonder why they're switched off in all the other styles?
I've posted a request in the Site News forum, which seems to be the appropriate place to pursue this.

| Feature request from my missus. Could the option in G5 be carried over to the Recordings by Name screen so that it sorts them by Name and then Date, ascending or descending, according to the setting in G5. |

I am pretty sure there was a request previously to change the sort order of "Recordings by name" to be by name, and then by description.
This was to group repeated recordings together (if the descriptions were the same).
I thought the current default was name then date, or is this request to be able to change it from ascending to descending (date) order.
Sorry if I am being daft, but I wanted to summarise it accurately for the Wiki list.

| Just the addition of a sort by Date (according to the value specified in G5) when in Recordings by Name. |

Apologies if this has been requested or can't be done for a firmware reason, but I have RTFM and couldn't find it in there.
It would be great if when watching an archive recording, pressing stop or at the end of the recording, MS went back to the archive page so I can quickly delete that recording and move on to another. This is how $ky+ works and is one useful feature that MS seems to be missing. |
