I read this bit: "Please use this thread to post bug reports". I don't know where the bug is, but v5.2 has taken my working 4.54e setup and given me a broken 5.2 setup.
EPG Data
L1: Maximum number of days to use MyStuff.mei file=Always
L2: MyStuff.mei reminder period (days)=7
L3: Non-MyStuff.mei EPG Source=Freeview
L4: EPG Data reload frequency=Never
L5: Force reload of ControlTimers=No
L6: Display feedback when reloading EPG Data=Yes
I've just tried deleting the MyStuff.dat in case it was corrupt. After a reboot I had to change the defaults to use MyStuff.mei again, but exactly the same behaviour (no EPG data loaded on boot, but loaded fine by selecting the Reload option in the MyStuff menu). |

In addition to fixing bugs and introducing a few new features, this version mainly address radio support, using the excellent OneList TAP written by EMJB. If you would like to use radio channels within MyStuff (in the EPG/Now & Next and also in Control Timers) then it is recommended that you run OneList, edit/recreate any existing radio timers that you have to use OneList radio channels, and then delete your radio channels using EMJB's RadioDelete TAP.
Good to see things moving forward. Can I just ask whether there are still plans to add native support for Radio (i.e. without requiring the OneList TAP)? |

No, there are no plans to add native Radio support, we do not see a need now.

Another bug report: when I set the Power Off setting (M6) to Off I couldn't actually turn my Toppy off! It just flashed up "OFF" on the display and then went back to the clock (I'm running TFDisp 1.39). I tried several times.
When I went into the MyStuff menu and pressed right arrow on this M6 option my Toppy *immediately* went into Standby. |

Hi R2-D2,
can you post in the bugs thread pls? The idea is to seperate all technical issues into another thread then people who want to update themselves don't have to wade through loads of problems...
Cheers

This is the bugs thread isn't it? According to the (new) title it is . Depends whether this is a help request or an actual bug report. |

As I understand it, the OneList tap needs to be run after every factory reset and if new Radio channels are added so its one less thing to remember, I suppose. Also, dependencies on other TAPs could make troubleshooting more complicated.. and I tend to think that if the native API supports a feature then using that is preferable to using a "messing around with memory"-type workaround (as long as the native one works, that is!).
Perhaps we need seperate bugs and feature request threads .. hmm.. did someone say Subforums?! |

I'll start looking into things tomorrow night, honest. PowerOff and one logo bug so far isn't it? |

I am still discovering all the new improvements you have made in MyStuff5.1, in fact I spend more time watching MyStuff than watching TV.
But I see you have already put together the next version, and would like ask if next time you would include this feature.
The merging of same channel consecutive timers into one timer.
British TV like British Rail never runs on time, it's why we pad our recording timers in the first place, so removing padding to accommodate a second timer is not always the best choice.
A global menu setting for manual timers set in the EPG could give three choices, 'never' merge timers, 'always' merge timers and 'ask', which would generate a dialog much like that in EPG Navigator, asking the user whether to keep the timers separate or merge them. A global menu setting for CT timers could only realistically have two options 'never' and 'always'.
Please consider this feature, more than a few times now, I have found that the last two minutes of a recording I am watching with interest, are on the first two minutes of a recording I watched and deleted the day before.
