I realise this is not an MS issue, but I can't think of a much better place to address it.
I find the native Toppy "Press 0 to change the aspect ratio" feature really frustrating. This button gets pressed by accident by any member of the household, and it takes me a while to realise I'm on 4:3 when I should be 16:9.
Is there any possibility that MS could optionally trap this keypress during live tv (like it does during playback) and then do absolutely nothing, thereby preventing the Toppy from doing anything either? Is this even feasible? Guess you'd still have to allow zero when preceded by other numbers.
Thanks, |

Pressing Archive a second time will take you to the normal Toppy archive. |

Thanks, This was discussed in length here http://forum.toppy.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6212&start=0
And as you can see I?m in favour of something being done, having an option in MS would be great. |

@ chunkywizard.
PM on its way. Thanks for the offer!
@ others who have offered suggestions re the memory leak.
Many thanks I'm checking through them (but memory is still reducing steadily - I feel a switch into and out of standby coming on...). |

| Just noticed that eit2mei.log is fairly large at 1899KB. Could this be having an impact rather than/in conjunction with MyStuff? |

Thanks EoR. Seems like there are two camps - those with 4:3 tellies who are happy with '0' changing the aspect ratio, and those with 16:9 tellies who wish it didn't. I'm definitely one of the latter. |

| I don?t think its WSSK, I use it and it's had no effect on the "0" key. Maybe "home-brewed NoExit TAP". I do use stopexit but not tried noexit perhaps I?ll give that a look. |

I've just bought my first toppy. I updated the firmware to 5.12.88 and installed MyStuff (4.54e). It worked fine for a few days but it's suddenly developed a glitch with the default archive list view. Now when I press the archive button it brings up the 'timers by date' view.
I've checked the setting in Option E3 which is set to default to 'Recordings by name' which is my preference but whatever I try the archive screen keeps reverting back to 'timers by date'.
Can anyone help?
Thanks |

Looks like my memory leak may well be connected to the 125 control timers I had gradually built up. I reduced them to 62 and memory seems to have remained stable overnight at 12.6MB.
Fingers, however, remain crossed! |

Ok good to know. If you get a mo, can you find out how many it takes to kill it. Then as a quick fix we can limit the number of CTs. Hopefully with this info we might be able to find a fix any how. We found the same thing on timers when testing, more than about 600 and you can kill the toppy. I think we internally limit to 400 or so now - I don't think that's an issue as no one has complained yet
