I think you want Section 6 on page 4. Press play rather than record to set a watch timer.

Hi All,

I noticed last night that any one shot timers I set are not showing with a red 'R' in the timer list. Has this always been so or have I broken something? I only ask since I had a couple of failures last night that took 3 power cycles to clear (hopefully). In each case the toppy would come on at the right time and right channel but didn't actually record !

I set my one shot timers from the MS EPG and press 'rec'

Have you been using Altair? That's what I THINK grabbed all my Toppy's memory when it happened to me.

I have also run into a memory problem when playing several recordings onto a DVD Recorder in succession.

my stuff is stuffed - hi ms not working ie the guide won't show ( well bits of it do, too faint to read though ) and when i change channels rather than the normal dark blue background with info on just get the channel name on the left in white. can't get to the m s archives for timers and recorded prog. just get blue background in bottom half of screen telling me about the first recording i have got stored

had this problem a few days ago. so took the prog files off and put back on again. this fixed it. but i can't be bothered to do that every few days ! there must be a easy solution ! only had it a wk !

Sounds like you might have some other TAP installed. Any chance of a screenshot to help work it out? Or a list of all TAPs you are running?

Only to load updated TAPs yesterday.

Memory back down to 9.5MB over the last 5 hours.

Back up to 15.4MB again after putting the box into and out of standby.

i still get the same problem if i just put my stuff and eit2 in the auto start once i have got the problem

the other taps i tend to use are ; epg navigator v.2.3
r extender 1.2 with jukebox 2.1 d and photo manager 1.0
or media manager 1.3
mei search 1.00 final
uk auto s v.06.0
q jump 1.43
d extender 1.6

eit2mei beta 7.2
my stuff 4.54e

i don't use all the above at the same time, as it cant seem to handle them all, have a few others in the prog files, which i don't use . as prev mentioned once i have the problem it continues even if i just have the last two in auto start.

have taken some screen shots - how do i put them on here ?
