Now that we have the new ITV logos, plus More 4+1 and a placeholder for Setanta, are there up to date logo packs available for the UK TAPs and Improbox?

The one I put up will be out of date now, and I'm not using it anymore, so we will need a new contributor. I know Quixotic used to create these. I don't know if it's still case |

Here are some quick'n'dirty home-made ones. I don't know about their names or about integrating them into a logo pack, but perhaps they'll help.

Hi Nigel,
I will create one for Improbox, should be able to do this tonight/ tomorrow. I will post in the Improbox thread when it's done...
Cheers
Chunkywizard
p.s. Andre, your Setanta logo appears to be wrong, see http://www.setanta.com/uk I will use this one for Improbox. Also, where did you get your itv1 logo from. A quick google and I have got a more organe one, can you suggest a link for a good logo? |

Nigel, I've got a full set of logos for the UKProject TAPs, which includes all of the new and recently changed logos. I could email a new UKProject logo pack to you if you could host it on your site.
Chunkywizard, here's a set of the new ITV & Setanta Sports logos resized to the improbox logo dimensions.

Sure; email it over to me and I'll update the information here, and we'll also update the TAP library, so people who've registered will get an email notification.

Hi Quixotic,
they look great, very clean. I will convert them to .ibl and add them to my pack.
Thanks,
CW. |

You're right about the Setanta logo, CW (I said they were quick'n'dirty!).
The ITV ones are adapted from the logos which appeared automagically on my machine when I updated DigiGuide. I think/hope there shouldn't be a copyright issue here, but I'll withdraw them if it's at all dodgy.
[Edit: P.S. The logos I posted are 60x38 pixels, which seems to be what UK Timers uses (which is my immediate need). I've never understood why there are logos in two different sizes. I have discovered that the 'ITV' in their names needs to be in upper case.] |

I've just rebuilt my Improbox logos with the Jan 06 ones and Improbox has started showing the channel name text next to the logo. Any idea why?! I thought it hid this if the logos were present?
Any help appreciated

Are you sure that isn't normal? Mine works that way.
I'm sure chunkywizard will know the answer when he gets round to reading your post. |

That didn't happen here.
Which version of Improbox are you using? And what do you have for setting number 59 on the Improbox set-up? |

I'm using the latest beta, which has always been fine. I've tried all settings for option 59. Still shows, for example:
"1 <logo> BBC1"
But the "BBC1" bit only appeared after I rebuilt logos.
Weird..... |

Ah!
I see what you mean now. You can avoid that by renaming the logos themselves (might take you a while!)
You need to change the names of the *.ibl files by inserting a dash so that
bbc1.ibl
would become
bbc1-.ibl |

If it's of any use to anyone, here's a cheap'n'cheerful CITV logo at 60x38.
