Hi maverick.
Quote: i) Is there anyway the recall button can work as vanilla while the now and next banner is displayed?
Might consider for a future version.
Quote:
ii) Can I get timer displayed by date to show todays timers at the top.
Set the "When sorting by date, show newest first" option to Yes
Quote:
iii) I'm guessing there no way of uploading MEI with a mac at the mo ( but I see someone is working on it)
True and true
Quote:
(Incidentally, after one day of dropping Improbox, the one feature I miss is being offered the option to delete a file when stop is pressed while watching a recording. Any chance of this being a future feature?)
While playing, press the Archive button (which will highlight the file being played), press White (to delete). Only a couple of extra presses! |

| Hi Bob would it be possible to have the Time Shift buffer included in the recording if Record is pressed while MyStuff now/next is displayed on the current programme please? |

Hi Bob,
further to Charley request, an option I liked of Improbox is an option (you must like my requests for options by now ) of what the record button does. Ie does it:
a/ record from the time it was pressed to the end of the show
b/ include time buffer
c/ record until the end of the show after next
etc.
what do you think? This would then please everybody. BTW, i'm with Charley so if it isn;t an option, just time buffer would be great
Cheers

HI Bob
'scuse my ignorance, but hubby and I were discussing this and I didn't know the answer so I thought I'd ask,
With Mystuff using the mei data from the radio times, what happens when TV programs run late or are swapped around in the schedules (like last sun with the oil fire news) ? Does mystuff show the updated running times in the grid display if jags finds them from the epg?
What happens if there are complete programme changes?
Assumimg they are broadcast over the epg that is?
I know it managed to correctly record Rome on Sunday night despite it being 20 minutes late but I thought that was Jag's search tool that had sorted that out.
Does that check for all timers or just those with Jag searches?
An enquiring public wants to know!

I will look at this at some point, for a future version (together with everything else on the very long list!) |

Hi CW
Well, if you press Record when N&N not visible, then the standard Toppy box pops up which lets you pick 2 of these (I think). Again, I will add to the list to look at. |

Ah yes. There are some known issues with using MEI and Jags, Currently timers set in MyStuff (when using MEI or Jags) are static. They will be padded by MyStuff but that is all. They will not adjust when EPG data changes.
EPG data will be updated, if using Jags, after each MyStuff load (or reload of data) only. There are no automatic updates of the data. If using MEI, then obviously it will only change if you generate a new file.

Probably. Having Jags run in the background is the only way to have timers adjust automaticaly, using the current version of MyStuff.

Hi Bob,
thanks for that, what I was talking about was doing it without having to select it in a menu.
Lazy, I know, but I like the one touch record
Thanks for add it to the list. BTW, prehaps you should publish the ToDo list on the thread and let people vote on their most wanted to get priorities. (if you actually want to know )
Cheers

Bob what a great TAP mystuff is - can't believe it's taken me 2 months to install it!
Any chance of a new option to delete the More4+1 timers? In the same way that you can already with the E4+1 Timers.
Thanks,
Ian. |

Hi Bob,
I'm overexcited now I've worked out Wooders script and have 14 days information. Is there a way to view the full extended information when it exceeds that allowed by the screen limitations?
Mav (mystuff convert) erick. |

Hi Ian
Welcome to the thread! Good things come to those that wait.
Yup, I'll add that one to the list for 3.2 (it wont make it for 3.1, which I hope to release tomorrow!) |

| Any chance of an option to reset the viewed status of a programme in the archive list back to simply 'recorded'? The archive list can look a bit complex sometimes if you have lots of partial viewings, but in reality only managed to watch a few minutes of some of them before being interrupted (like those of us who have 2 small children!) Perhaps there could be a 'reset' button on the info page of an archived programme's details, like in OzArchive? |

| I'll consider that one for later. In the meantime you can press Play on a recording in the archive to play from the start (not quite what you want, but may still be useful if you didnt know about it) |
