Still using one of my Toppys - as it is full of things I need to watch - but now buying a new telly. Seems Scart sockets are no longert standard. Is there a converter cable anyone recommends on here?

Some TVs have a connector for a Scart adapter. These are sometimes included, or can be bought separately.

I can supply a Scart to Component cable, if your TV has Component inputs (YUV, YCrCb, YPrPb) on phono/RCA and L+R audio.

If you must have HDMI, there are such devices available on eBay, but the ones I've seen are not very good quality.

This one looks promising:

Ignore the mention of RGB, it's component, as can be seen from the connectors in the picture (YPrPb +LR). You would need the scart to component lead, mentioned above, in order to connect your Toppy to this device.
