About 3 weeks ago I noticed a short recording. Since then I've had a couple more. In between other recordings have been fine.

However, in the past seven days I've noticed the Toppy unexpectedly reboot itself (I've been watching another TV input [HDMI] and the Toppy has 'forced' the TV to switch inputs [SCART]) and then I see the "Verifying Folders and Files" message.

I replaced the caps a few years back and also added a 1TB SATA drive.

Any suggestions ?

TIA

How many caps did you replace? The recommended number has increased from (?)12 to all of them over time - apparently they all go eventually...

Thanks for the replies/suggestions.

I've been away had forgotten about my question Rolling Eyes

I suspect it will the be capacitors and will have a look in due course. However, since posting the question I've had no more reboots.

Normally only when I remember to turn it off after a system reset/rescan. Rolling Eyes

I'll double check in the morning.
