I have made no changes to my 5800 for many months, so I don't know what I can have done. I have just noticed that I am seeing the current picture faintly through the MyStuff menus which was not happening earlier in the day.

I have hunted through the MyStuff menus for this but cannot see anything.

My sig, though old, is up to date.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Well I would have sworn there was a setting for the transparency level, but it appears not. The only thing I can find is in the Display section, and that's

Display EPG/Archive/Options full screen=Yes/No

No, definitely not. It was not transparent earlier in the day, nor for as long as I can remember.

OK, I will have to think deeper about it. I am wondering if it is anything to do with the TAP 'TF5000 display'. Will have to investigate.

I doubt it, as that's about the front panel display.

It's just occurred to me that there's a transparency setting in the SYSTEM menu though. I expect that's what's changed.

Well, I don't know how it got changed, but that seems to be it.

It took me a while to find my way to the system settings (so long since I have been there!) but when I got there, the OSD transparency was 5%. Changed it to 0% and all seems well (fingers crossed!).

Thanks for the steer.
