Are you saying that the file name of the converted programme is different from that of the source (which would be my bug), or that the filename doesn't match the program content (which would be a Toppy bug, but of little consequence)?

The original toppy .rec file has the correct filename, and it doesn't change.
I did have quick look yesterday using vlc and the programme I was expecting was at the beginning of the file (barring pre-padding of 2 minutes).
The new E2 programme description shows the previous programme.

I'll have a look to see what the toppy thinks the description is.

There are 2 sets that are wrong, but I doubt you can do anything about them, it will be easier for me to manually edit them.

One is the 3rd programme of a chain of 3.

The other appears to be a single recording, I need to check it out in more detail.

[quote="ccs"]Edit: Nearly all my converted toppy files show as 5 minutes long, starting at 22:00 (probably should be 21:00).
Could a 5810 have some subtle differences in the .rec files?

I had found, and fixed, the duration problem. I think the hour is a summertime problem, but want to investigate properly as to where the bug is rather than just bodging it as I imagine it has little significance to most people.

Updated version (X3) now available from here if you wish to give it a try. Hopefully this incorporates all the changes/fixes promised above, plus a few improvements. The "instructions" window now includes an outstanding bug list and a change log.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone.

Thanks for the updates.

I've found inconsistencies between Antares and MyStuff which E2RecMgr has been highlighting, probably why I've been getting confused.

There's one relatively simple problem highlighted by E2RecMgr I can describe...

"The Honourable Woman", 8 episodes, all on consecutive Thursdays, no chaining, and 7 out of 8 convert fine.
The ts.meta file for episode 6 is for the previous program, MyStuff gives the correct info, but native does not.

I guess it's a SL firmware blip in creating the .rec header which can't be rectified?

Toppy conversions using *.rec causes an access violation, ./*.rec is ok.

Probably something that R2D2 could have fixed, but as BobD had worked round it in MyStuff, he probably felt it not worthwhile.

Thanks. Have clarified the instructions and put in a check ready for the next version.

I found out something useful when repairing programme info.

I've got loads of archived copies of MyStuff_RecordedInfo.dat, but file explorer searches where not finding the titles I was looking for.

They must have been there once up a time.

"Indexing Options" needs changing - find .dat in advanced tab/file types and set it to include file contents, and then the searches found what I was looking for.

(Re-indexing can take ages.)

Have updated this to X4. The two major changes are to allow folders to be renamed and allow selection of groups of consecutive files to be selected for moving or deletion. It can be downloaded from here.
