last night i was going to watch something off the hard drive and the toppy threw a wobbly. The tv picture disappeared and the setting up menu pop up and would not exit so i did a retune.
after there were a lot of duplicate channels so i did a retune with my laptop thru top manager, a couple of times no channels and bbc duplicated on tv,
3rd time lucky it kept coming up to reset to back up it stopped when i click no.
it seems alright but i was wondering if mother board is on way out.
At the moment i am transfering recorded programs to lap top and i was thinking
reformatting the drive and reinstalling my stuff or swapping my toppy from another tv

Have you had the power supply capacitors replaced? If not you are digging a hole for yourself.
