Many apologies for these; I hope it's properly resolved now, but I'll be keeping an eye on it throughout the day.
The issue was caused by updating the software on the database server to the latest versions.
That was a prudent thing to do for security reasons, but it seems to have had an unfortunately side effect.
For those who are curious about these things, the updated 2.6 Linux kernel version seems unable to correctly keep the time when running in a virtual machine, unless specific extra options are specified at boot time.
Tracking this down was a little complicated by the annoying habit of Plesk changing the system timezone when updated, which threw a fair few red herrings my way.
There will, unfortunately, be some future-dated posts left lying around, but the system time should now be stable, and running at the same speed as the rest of the universe. |

While there were still pre-dated posts in the list, I noticed that they could not be marked as "read" but they have all gone now. |
