Hi all,

I’m just transferring some TV programs from the Toppy to PC. My Altair is 1.250.

No problems - I was just wondering, if there is a later version ?

No, but you could use Antares instead, which also means you can install the [U] and [Uu] patches (can't tell from your sig if you already have them) without having to update a DLL.

I don't have U / Uu patches.

I just looked at the Antares link - ta.

It looks a good thing,,,,,, do you (or anyone else) use it ?
How does it compare with Altair ?

Loads of people use it - there's a 21-page (at the current count) support thread dating back to its first incarnation in May 2010, full of people asking for features - and mostly getting them.

Have a read through the thread, or just install Antares and see what you think. There's nothing to stop you using whichever you prefer.

I'll try it.

I don't really use the 'transfer' side much, apart from PC to Toppy for updates etc.

I havn't updated Altair since I got it, & had no idea if it had been improved.

I'll give Antares a go.

You can also use TopManager (link in my signature) if you are just using the USB to update Taps etc
