Apologies if this has already been reported and/or fixed.
1. Delete one part of a merged recording.
2. Press green on the remaining part of the merged recording to show the merged recordings screen.
3. Delete the remaining part of the merged recording so the merged timers screen lists no recordings.
4. Press green again (to return to the archive view) - CRASH!!
N.B. I do not have the recycle bin option active. |

| Was any of the parts marked as still to record (Yellow blob)? This consisently crashes my Toppy if I forget to explicitly stop the merged recording first. Always has done over every version of MS I have used. |

Always has done over every version of MS I have used. Can you expand on this? Does this crash at the same point, ie when pressing Green or Exit to exit the merge screen, or does it crash even if there is still something displayed on the merge screen? |

| It is when you go into the Archive, mark all parts of the merged recording including any parts still to be recorded then press delete. Boom! |

Upgraded to 6.4 a week or so back (using installer). Yesterday appeared to experience recurrence of this bug. Haven't had time to try and replicate but scenario as I recall was:
1. Press green on merged recording to show the merged recordings screen.
2. Mark all parts of merged recording with BLUE button.
3. Press WHITE to delete complete merged recording.
4. Press GREEN (or may have been EXIT) to return to the archive view - CRASH!!
The recording(s) in question was a long radio recording (approx 6 hours) comprising about 6 merged programmes.
N.B. I do not have the recycle bin option active.
Good job on 6.4 btw |

| Ok, can you try to replicate it when possible and let me know how it goes. I will look into this for the next release. |

I have tried a number of times to replicate. I'm pleased to report that the Toppy by no means crashes every time. However, I have experienced one other crash in the same scenario and the only difference I can surmise between the crashing and non-crashing occasions is that on the occasions when the Toppy crashed it had been running for some time.
I couldn't say exactly how long in each case, but not more than 24 hours as I have a daily shutdown timer set.
Still, maybe not one to waste too many hours on. |

| Just had a recurrence of this bug (v6.4). Deleting a merged (2 part) BBC1 recording. Crashed as soon as pressed Green to exit from the (empty) merged recordings screen. |

So while it's recent, what was the sequence of keystrokes to make it crash? We need enough detailed information to try to reproduce it before BobD stands much chance of fixing it.
Did you delete the programmes while still watching the (or one of them) by going to the archive and pressing White, or did you stop the playback first. Did you watch both programmes one after the other? What order did you watch in? What order did you delete them in?
i.e. exactly what state was the Toppy in when you started, and what did you do up until the point when it crashed?
What options do you have set in MyStuff related to playback of merged recordings (i.e. does it continue to prog 2 after watching prog 1? Does it prompt you to delete when you press Stop?)
