so is it two years or did it first reach customers in 2005? |

Can I ask, does anyone know if the 5810 is likely to be in the High Street (ie branches of John Lewis, Currys) tomorrow? (They haven't got it on their websites as yet).
Thanks |

| I would suspect that the first shops to have it will be the independents, rather than the multiples - Turbosat started sending them out on Wednesday, but while some independents can receive them and put them straight on the shelves, a lot of multiples will receive shipments centrally and then send them out to the individual stores, which takes longer. |

Mine turned up today from SVP; looking very good so far; easy to use menus, clear displays. The unit looks great. I'm just going through and deleting all the duplicate channels that were found, before I start recording |

You might want to try the ChannelManager TAP to do that automatically. It will be interesting to see if it works on a 5810!

| I didn't think channel manager would even work on a 5800 with the lastest f/w, or has a new version been released? |

Ah, too late now! I've never had a Toppy before, so will have a dabble with some TAPs later... |

Morning All,
I have a 5800 which I'm very chuffed with.
with regards to this new model. Are people not just gonna wait for the freesat version, or am i missing something here?
Thanks.

Its a totally different kettle of fish, and anyway there's not likely to be a Freesat model, so I'd say yeah! |
