| Hi, I'm just wondering, is there a patch to get rid of the roundels once and for all? I've got MyStuff's roundel suppression working, but they still pop up now and again. |

| I think there are other TAPs that do this, but a patch is possible. A speed-up patch is possible, too -- making them go away quicker. |

| Improbox can turn them off, or replace them with a different style, or give you a pop up box at the bottom off the screen telling you when recordings start and finish. |

I am using Improbox and/or Progressbarkeys to hide these roundels but still they can be seen for a short moment sometimes. |

Me too. They are actually my favourite bit of the Toppy GUI by a long way (and thankfully the only bit I usually see these days ).
Saying that, I like the sound of a Patch to make then go away faster. Now if this can be configurable, it would really hit the spot, but I think configurable patches is probably a step too far , eh R2 |

I also use roundel suppression in MS but still get them and would love a permanent solution to their appearance.
Using Improbox does seem a bit excessive for just one feature.
@bellissimo
QJ allows configurability (down to 1/2 second) but still does not remove them completely.
I add my support for a patch. |

Cor blimey! That was fast. Thanks everso!
Trying it out now. Patch works with 5.13.65 fine, using HDFW. Now I have to see whether I ever see a roundel again... |

Well, I've tried out [R0] NoRoundels and it seems to work fine so far. I switched off MyStuff's roundel handling and watched timers start, and messed about with OSDs, both with and without the roundel patch, and it got rid of them all, as far as I could see. I haven't tried the other patch because, frankly, I'm not interested.
This is fun - is there anything else that could reasonably be wiped off the face of the earth? CYR maybe? |

Perhaps this discussion is redundant now that there's a patch to do the job, but I've been using Improbox's no-roundel option for the last two years, and I've never seen a roundel in that time (except of course when I've booted without autostart TAPs). |
